On the afternoon of April 17, the labor union of Zhuhai United Laboratories Co., Ltd., together with the Women’s Federation of Sanzao Town, organized an emergency first aid training session at the company’s fourth-floor auditorium. Ms. Luo, Director of the Public Health Department of Guangdong Provincial People’s Hospital Zhuhai Hospital, along with the hospital’s Emergency Medicine team, was specially invited to deliver the training. More than 150 employees from the Zhuhai company and the sales company participated in this informative and practical session.

From CPR and the Heimlich maneuver to AED operation and recognizing the warning signs of sudden cardiac arrest, professional explanations combined with hands-on practice made unfamiliar and intense first aid knowledge clear and accessible.

The instructors patiently corrected participants’ movements step by step, while employees practiced attentively. From the force of chest compressions to the placement of AED electrode pads, every detail was treated with care and precision.

The prize-winning interactive session created a relaxed and lively atmosphere, with participants eagerly answering questions. Amid laughter and engagement, everyone reinforced their understanding of life-saving procedures.

After the training, participants expressed that they had gained a great deal—not only mastering practical first aid skills, but also building greater confidence in responding to emergencies.

Although the event has ended, the sense of safety and preparedness brought by having “life-saving skills close at hand” will remain with everyone. 

The labor union stated that it will continue to organize practical and caring health-related activities in the future, adding another layer of protection and reassurance for employees’ physical and mental well-being.
