TUL was founded in 1990 and listed in Hong Kong in 2007 (Stock Code: 3933.HK), with its core business focusing on pharmaceutical R&D, manufacturing and sales. After more than three decades of dedicated development, the Group has built a diversified industrial landscape: covering four business segments – Finished Products, APIs, Biotechnology and Animal Healthcare – with nine production and R&D entities, eleven major manufacturing bases, and four management and marketing institutions. Its sales network reaches over 70 countries and regions worldwide. It is a comprehensive pharmaceutical group with over 18,000 employees.

  • TUL and Novo Nordisk Entered into an Exclusive License Agreement for the GLP-1R/GIPR/GCGR Triple Agonist UBT251, marking TUL's successful global outreach of its innovative drug.
  • Liraglutide Injection was approved for marketing. This product is the first marketed product after obtaining approval for segmented production, enriching TUL's product portfolio in the diabetes treatment field and GLP-1 target.
  • Zhuhai United Laboratories Animal Healthcare Co., Ltd. moved to a new location.
  • TUL's new cephalosporin product base was completed and put into operation. Covering an area of 180 mu, the base is dedicated to providing stable and high-quality cephalosporin API products to global customers.
  • Zhuhai Wanbang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. moved to a new location.
  • Inner Mongolia Everbright Lianfeng Biotechnology Co., Ltd. successfully commenced production.
  • TUL Craftsmanship Training School was officially launched.

  • Zhuhai United Bio-Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and its three pipeline products, Liraglutide Injection, Insulin Degludec Injection, and Semaglutide Injection, were included in Guangdong’s first batch of biopharmaceutical enterprises and pilot products for segmented production. 
  • The Comprehensive Health Division (formerly the Health Supplement Division) and Guangzhou Lianxin Health Industry Co., Ltd. were established to expand its presence in the comprehensive health sector. 
  • The United Animal Healthcare (Inner Mongolia) Co., Ltd. was relocated to a new facility in the Bayannur Economic and Technological Development Zone in Inner Mongolia. 
  • The United Animal Healthcare (Inner Mongolia) Co., Ltd. entered into a partnership with Riverland Foods of New Zealand to expand into the premium pet food market, marking the company’s first step toward international operations in animal healthcare.

  • Zhuhai United Laboratories Animal Healthcare Co., Ltd. was founded as a production base for veterinary medicines. The plant construction project broke ground in Gaolan Port, Zhuhai in the same year. 
  • The bulk medicine base project of Zhuhai United Laboratories Co., Ltd. in Gaolan Port also officially commenced construction.
2022
  • The United Laboratories Group achieved an annual revenue exceeding RMB 10 billion.
  • The United Animal Healthcare (Inner Mongolia) Co., Ltd. and Muyuan Foods Co., Ltd. jointly established Henan Lianmu Veterinary Medicine Co., Ltd. to further expand in the veterinary medicine sector.
  • Kendor Technology (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. was established, mainly engaged in the production of medical devices.
2021
  • The United Bio-Technology (Hengqin) Co., Ltd. and Zhuhai United Bio-Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. were established as the group’s headquarters for biopharmaceutical R&D.
  • The United Laboratories (Inner Mongolia) Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Apeloa Biotechnology Co., Ltd. cofounded Ningbo Pubang Biotechnology Co., Ltd. to engage in strategic cooperation in the field of veterinary medicine.
2020
  • The United Laboratories (Inner Mongolia) Co., Ltd. launched its reclaimed water reuse project to achieve zero wastewater discharge.
2017
  • The production base of The United Animal Healthcare (Inner Mongolia) Co., Ltd. in Bayannur Economic and Technological Development Zone officially commenced operations.
2016
  • The insulin glargine injection “USLEN®” (refilled) was approved for marketing, making TUL the first domestic company to possess production capabilities for both second- and third-generation insulin products.
2015
  • Zhuhai United Laboratories Trading Co., Ltd. was founded, focusing on the sales of bulk medicines and intermediate products.
2014
  • Jingui Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. was established by TUL and renamed as “The United Animal Healthcare (Inner Mongolia) Co., Ltd.” in 2016 as it began expanding into the field of veterinary medicine.
2013
  • The founder of The United Laboratories, Mr. Choy Kam Lok, passed away, and his son, Mr. Tsoi Hoi Shan, succeeded him as Chairman of the Board.
  • The United Laboratories (China) Co., Ltd. was established as the group headquarters.
2010
  • Insulin API and finished products production base was built in Zhuhai to expand the insulin market. 
2009
  • Its first biopharmaceutical product “USLIN®N” (human insulin injection) was approved for market launch. In the following year, USLIN® series (R, 30R, 50R) were also granted marketing approval.
2007
  • The United Laboratories International Holdings Limited was listed on Hong Kong Stock Exchange. 
  • The United Laboratories (Inner Mongolia) Co., Ltd. was founded, specializing in bulk medicines and intermediate products R&D and production. It achieved an industry milestone by accomplishing investment, construction, and commencement of production all within the same year.
2003
  • The United Laboratories (Chengdu) Co., Ltd. was established as a pharmaceutical intermediate production base. 
2001
  • TUL acquired Guangdong Kaiping Kingly Capsule Co., Ltd., achieving self-sufficiency in the production and supply chain control of medicinal hollow capsules.
1998
  • The production base of Zhuhai United Laboratories Ltd. was officially put into operation in Jinwan District, Zhuhai. 
  • In 2000, The United Laboratories Ltd. commenced operations at its newly built manufacturing plant in Hong Kong’s Yuen Long Industrial Estate.
1996
  • Zhongshan Finished Products Plant was completed. In 1997, Zhuhai United Laboratories Ltd. Zhongshan Branch was established and it became the pioneering comprehensive pharmaceutical manufacturer in China to obtain multi-dosage-form GMP certification in a single audit. In 2001, the branch was renamed as “Zhuhai United Laboratories (Zhongshan) Co., Ltd.”. 
1994
  • China Sales Division was established and later renamed as “the Finished Products Marketing Center” in 2024, primarily responsible for the sales and promotion of finished products.
1993
  • Zhuhai Wanbang Pharmaceutical Ltd. was founded and later renamed as “Zhuhai United Laboratories Ltd.” in the same year. In 2001, it was restructured as “Zhuhai United Laboratories Co., Ltd.”, an integrated pharmaceutical enterprise producing both bulk medicine and finished products.
1991
  • TUL introduced amoxicillin capsules into mainland China, popularizing the concept of oral semi-synthetic penicillin without the need for skin testing.
1990
  • The United Laboratories Ltd. was established in Hong Kong, primarily engaged in the production of finished products.
