From November 1 to 2, the “2025 Frontiers in Diabetes Academic Conference,” hosted by the Diabetes Committee of the Chinese Research Hospital Association, was successfully held in Beijing. The conference focused on the latest advances in diabetes diagnosis and treatment, as well as the enhancement of primary care management capabilities. Multiple thematic presentations and discussion sessions were conducted concurrently across the main and sub-venues, attracting a large number of experts and scholars for in-depth exchange and dialogue.

The main forum agenda focused on the latest academic developments in diabetes and introduced several new medications widely used in clinical practice. Professor Ma from Beijing Anzhen Hospital, Capital Medical University, presented an interpretation of the “Phase III Clinical Trial Results of Domestic Semaglutide Injection,” with the session chaired by Director Huang of Beijing Haidian Hospital. This study, jointly conducted by multiple medical centers across China, provides a systematic evaluation of the drug’s safety, efficacy, and clinical application prospects.

During the same period, the “100th Session Summary Meeting of the National Primary-Level Diabetes Management Training Program (Double Excellence Initiative)” was successfully held. Since its launch, the initiative has delivered over 100 training sessions nationwide, reaching more than 75,000 participants, and has significantly contributed to improving primary-level capabilities in diabetes screening, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management.

Outside the conference venue, United Laboratories set up an information desk to provide attending experts with product consultations, access to academic materials, and opportunities for professional interaction and exchange.
