On the afternoon of September 19, the “Light Up Life, Salute Blood Donors” event, celebrating the 27th anniversary of the Blood Donation Law, was successfully held at the Citizen Service Center. The event was jointly organized by the Municipal Health Commission, the Red Cross Society, and the Municipal Voluntary Blood Donation Office. Zhuhai United Laboratories Co., Ltd. was invited to attend as a caring enterprise representative and was awarded the 2024 Zhuhai City Outstanding Voluntary Blood Donation Enterprise. Additionally, the company’s employee, Zhan Gejin, received the Bronze Award for the 2021–2022 Guangdong Province Voluntary Blood Donation Contribution.

This year marks the twelfth consecutive year that Zhuhai United Laboratories Co., Ltd. has partnered with the Zhuhai Central Blood Station to carry out voluntary blood donation activities. Since the program’s launch in 2013, the company has organized a total of 1,659 employees to donate blood, contributing a total of 542,350 milliliters. Over the past three years, these public welfare blood donation activities have received enthusiastic participation from employees, including 17 employees who have donated for three consecutive years and 42 employees who have successfully donated twice.

This significant honor not only recognizes the company’s long-term efforts in organizing voluntary blood donation activities and fostering a culture of giving but also commends the good deeds of each compassionate employee. Moving forward, the company will continue to encourage and guide employees to actively participate in social welfare initiatives, conveying positive energy through concrete actions and contributing further to saving lives and building a harmonious, healthy society.
