Amoxicillin Sodium for Injection

[Common name] Amoxicillin Sodium for Injection

 

[Ingredients] The major ingredient of the product is amoxicillin sodium.

 

[Indication] It is indicated for those suffering severe infections caused by sensitive bacteria (not producing β-lactamase bacteria strain) and requiring hospitalization or unable to take peroral administration: upper respiratory tract infection, urinary genital tract infection, skin and soft tissue infection, lower respiratory tract infection, as well as applicable for typhoid fever and leptospirosis.

 

[Specification] Calculated on the basis of C16H19N3O5S (1) 0.5g; (2) 1.0g; and (3) 2.0g.

 

[Usage and Dosage] Intramuscular injection, or after dilution, administer through intravenous drip. For adult, 0.51g at each time, once every 6-8h. For children, the dosage shall be calculated on the basis of 50mg100mg/Kg, administer the drug in 3-4 portions.
